The extra holiday...

Hi everyone...here to update these few days stuffs...on wednesday, was an extra holiday, cause one lecture was canceled and another class did not have to come...haha...so went to walk around chinatown that area and tanjong pagar...haha...after walked to central to eat jap food, which is one of my favorite cuisine...one of my favorite "recently found" restaurant is Waraku...haha...me and my brother went there to eat...haha...eat until I almost burst...haha...but it was good...haha..after a while of walking, we headed home...haha...it was fun day...haha...

Then thursday didn't have much things that happened except had a Shanghai trip presentation and lastly went to my friend house to help him with some stuffs...reached home about 12 plus...haha...

Yesterday,nothing much happened except had my overseas attachment interview...and after tax, miss yuen was so nice, cause she brought us some pineapple tarts and kuih bankit...haha...anyway then I left for the interview which I was like damn scared...but after that I found out that it was past students who were interviewing me that the company I was applying for...haha...then anyway they mention that you have to be think on the spot quickly, need to be mentally strong and be very adaptive...which indeed did worry me...as I wasn't any one of that...and the person I will be working from is not going to easy...which this thought came to mind "Would I bend like a bamboo or snap like a twig?" Its 6 months! Which makes me think whether it was applying for this attachment was a good idea after all...hmm...maybe only time will tell...anyway I shouldn't be that worried right? May not even be chosen...haha...anyway I think everything wil be left to fate...haiz...anyway gtg now...see ya...take care folks... =|

Hey everyone...here to update again...haha...finally the long awaited new year is here, been waited for it to come since school reopened...haha...and now it is over(as in the hols)...but don't fret, we still have like 13 more days to celebrate...haha...ok, tell you more about the annual visiting...as we all know we see some of these relatives only once a year excluding red or white events, be it they being nasty or nice...

Ok on the eve of new year, went to my grandma house for the reunion dinner and after a car ride, we went home to prepare the necessary stuffs to usher in the new year...next day woke up and went to have lunch and at the same time to collect angpows from my respective uncles and aunties...haha...then after lunch, we headed to my mum's side house to start our visiting...haha...first was my other grandmother's house...ok there we just pig out on the goodies...haha...and then while we were sitting around chatting, suddenly this old lady(from god know where) came and sat beside me...suddenly she said that we(me and my sisters) don't look alike in like a rude way...and we were like in a "err..." reaction...then she ask who is the biggest and other stuffs which I don't remember...but she was like sorry for my straightforwardness ar...anyway after that she gave us angpows and after giving our thanks we continue to watch tv...then my elder sister said she wanted to say she was an adopted child...but she said she was try really hard to hold her tongue or else she would have said...haha...but my dad say luckily she didn't said, if not we will not had angpows...

Later we had yusheng to celebrate the occassion made by my grandaunt, and the yusheng was vegetarian...cool right?haha...anyway I decided to gang up with my sisters to flick the yusheng to the lady we said us, but pretended in a way that we were tossing it voliently...haha...cause she was standing diagonally opposite us...opps, my misdeeds shouldn't be blog here...haha...but of course we didn't do that...due to our conscious...haha...After visiting another house, we headed home and lastly in the night we went to my first aunt house...

Ok now yesterday we went to more houses which is my dad's side...haha...about 4 house...I don't think there is nothing much to blog about but just that there were loads of laughter and fun...and of course loads of goodies to eat...I think I have gain some fat...haha...after in the night went to my second aunt house to do some visiting...haha...I guess that wraps up my visiting for the two days...gtg now...school's starting tomorrow so sianz...see ya all soon...take care... =D

Hectic Week...Last Min Shopping...

Hi folks...back to update...ok to begin with, this week was a freaking hectic week for me...so many things to submit and what's more near to CNY, which have to do last minute shopping...grr...anyway first let me talk about BCOMM...ok miss lee added her own topics which was divided People, places and products...so products let one so she did not replenish and there was left with people and places...so I chose places as there were two left...guess what I've got...it was "Mumbai"!!! I was OMG!!!I don't know what to say besides the recent terrorist attack..I was at the moment, wish andril was there to help me...haha...but anyway I had a feeling that I screwed up...haha...cause miss lee asked me why I leave until the last min to talk about the terrorist attack, did I not have enough to eloborate one? then I said ya...but I was actually afraid that I didn't want to turn the topic into terrorism...haha...

Anyway, Friday was the worst day of my poly life...there was so many things to do...ok first my executive summary had to be submitted, there was this tax assignment during class, retest for my RFA and tutorials to be done, which btw I did not do as I was damn busy to do it...even the last day of school in the Rat year, it was still so tough...haha...anyway at last can relax a little...

Ok with the bad part out of the way, lets me talk about yesterday...in the morning, followed mum to the market to buy the last minute CNY stuffs...con her into buying more flowers...haha...it was quite a nice atmosphere...busy rushing here and there to get everything they need...haha...and after coming back, bake some CNY cookies...and went to meet my brother...haha...went to Chinatown to eat dumplings and next Bras Barsah to look for books and next Suntec and walked to Hong Bao River and then Lau Pat Sa to eat dinner...it was a feast man, I eat until I couldn't eat anymore...haha...really stuffed...and went back to Chinatown to walk the fair...which was quite fun...and after went to take the night rider home...haha...when I reach home, was about 3.30am...It was a really fun day! Thanks ge! haha... =P

I guess that sums up my last week before CNY...in less than 12 hours it will be CNY...hope everyone enjoys themselves...take care...see ya guys... =D

A feast fit for two people...haha...fried tofu,tang yuan,satay,BBQ stingray and calamari rings...one of the best I ever eaten in my life...I'm not kidding about it...haha...

Smelly Beancurd...its not bad...haha...you should try it...but be prepared to have lots of after-dinner mints...haha... :P

Hey guys...back to blog...today's entry going to be a quick one...cause got tons of things to do...this coming week is going to be real busy one...with the last session on table topic which is on tuesday, FIT and BCOMM project and lastly RFA retest...wow, think my head is going to explode le...anyway what I can look forward is that at last is going to be CNY...can at least take my mind off from school stress...and of course the annual bonus which comes in red packets...haha...but I have to say this year CNY is really a rush one...haven't even bought decorations, new year stuff and clean my table...haiz...but I guess its gonna be a mad rush from friday till sunday...haha...ok anyway gtg now...take care... =)

Hey peeps..back to blog, it'll be a short one...ok today was table topics told myself not to be scared and it wasn't that bad...but I have to say the topic I've pick is sucks man...ok here goes "A positive attitude may not solve your problems, but it is enough to annoy people to make your effort worth." When I pick the topic, I was like shit man...what am I suppose to say so I went out of class to prepare and when Sylvester open the door to tell me I left 1 more min, I kena shocked and jump...at that moment all my thoughts suddenly all mixed up...anyway then I went head on into it...but after that miss lee say I am not suppose to change the quote but comment on it...haha...but if you ask me now what I said, I think I don't really have much recollections on it...cause I was crapping all the way...haha...but anyway I guess I will have to say I gave it my best, no regrets...haha...but whenever I not so scared for this session, the next one surely die one...haha...will screw up one, like BCOMM 1...haha...anyway hope the next one is ok...haha...I guess that's all, gtg to prepare tutorial now tomorrow my group presenting...haha...see ya guys...take care...ciao... =)

Hey folks...back to blog, sorry for the lack of update...been slightly busy and haven't got the mood to blog...as last week got all the common tests back...sadly, to say fail RFA(Regulatory Framework of Accounting)...but I guess I knew it coming as I wasn't strong in that module considering not having a clue what the FRS is about...haha...ok its not that bad but I guess it the lack of prep work that killed me and the lack of understanding...haiz...but of course will be going for the retest...the rest was ok, at the very least I've passed them...anyway look toward the future right?

Anyway tomorrow and the week after is Table Topics...ok if you don't know what is it I'll talk about it...first you have to reach your hand into a container then pull out a slip of paper and that will be the topic you will be talking about...you are given 3 mins to think and after that stand in front of the class and talk for 2 mins...scary right? For examples, there were two I remember that is from today, one quote is "To err is human and to forgive is divine" and "An eye for an eye makes the world blind"...I mean how are you going to think and say these two topics? especially under those situations and whatsmore its for 2 WEEKS!!!haiz...just hope I pick an easier topic...wish me luck...

At last CNY is soon here...can't wait to have another break from exhausting school...haha...I know I damn lazy, but yep can't wait for it to come which is 2 more weeks...haha...but this year's CNY seems really weird...like not in "THAT" mood to celebrate compare to last year, maybe its because of the financial crisis can't spend that much as compared to last year and everyone is trying to scrimp and save...that why maybe its not going to be that fun...and after CNY still have to be back to school to study and in a few weeks will be exams...sianz...but compared to last year, maybe this year is better cause CNY wasn't during the study break and exams were the following week like last year...and I heard I am going to lesser houses this year which = less ang pow money...argh...haha...but hope its going to be packed of fun and joy this CNY...can't wait...anyway gtg now...hope to see ya guys soon... =)

Hey folks...back to blog on my last day of the holidays...haha...its been long but short holidays...haha...3 weeks instead of the usual 2...haha...can't believe it passed in a blink of an eye...now its back to the studying and mugging again...so sianz...but luckily tomorrow is IS which is Jap, slightly more relax I have to say...anyway its always sianz when it start school right? haha...anyway when wake up have to read up on my jap cause think there's a quiz...haha...

Yesterday was the light up of the Chinatown CNY decorations...haha...there had road blocks and I had to walked from Magazine Road to Maxwell area...I almost died on my way there...whatsmore they block the bridges...so had to walked to Outram...haha...was at the Tea Chapter there...chatting with my teacher and friends...haha...the tea was good, which was brewed by my teacher...really good...haha...then we walked around the CNY fair and then we did a little "walking" around there...haha...its was interesting and weird at the same time...haha...but it was indeed an eye-opener...haha...anyway gtg to rest now...need to revise some things tomorrow morning...haha...take care folks...hope to see ya all soon...sayonara... =)

The New Year...2009...

Hey people...back to blog...first entry for the new year...haha...wow, everything had passed in a blink of an eye...It's now 2009...I want to wish everyone a Happy 2009!!! May all your resolutions come true and have a fruitful and great year ahead...School starts next monday...feel so-so about it...haha...still left one homework not yet done, oh and getting back common tests the first week, damn scared man...haiz...ok I guess that's about all...have a great week ahead...take care folks... =)

A simple pen but taught me a life lesson...And I am very glad to have met these people who taught me this important lesson associated with this pen...Thanks to FATE! =D

Received this new year message from hasanah which I felt really meaningful: "2009 is at your doorstep...Remember, life is short, break the rules, forgive and forget quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile..." Do take a break to think about it... :)
