Yesterday, it was finally the BBQ that we had planned for a few months ago...the only bad thing was the wastage of food and some problems along the way...but the rest was really fun...I have to apologize that I have sianz moments as I was figuring out what to do with the food and wastage and to cook it...this was a great BBQ because some of us haven't met since we left secondary school, can you believe that?haha...we reached the pit at about 5 plus...it was damn far man...carry the things until I want to give up on the way man...haha...anyway then the fire went out as we are out of charcoal and have to wait for the next batch to arrive...which was quite long and after barbecuing for about 15-20 mins we went to have our mini night walk...and perhaps it was my imagination or else I really saw some things...anyway it was really fun in general, from the starting of the fire till the night walk and taking group pics...haha...In the morning, went to the Peranakan Muesum with my teacher to take a look...found out from my mum actually I am 1/8 or lesser baba/nonya...interesting right? haha...
When I took taxi back to my house after the BBQ, I met this really nice taxi driver...He forget to on the meter and then he after said opps and said never mind in chinese...and then he pressed...when I reached my house I was digging for my money in my wallet to give him exact and then he said never mind if you don't have enough...haha...really nice right? But I replied I had enough...haha...after giving him the money, I said goodnight and he said goodnight and then I left the alighted from the taxi...It was one of the most pleasant experience with taxi drivers...not like some jerks I've met...If you know what I mean...haha...
Anyway I will just let the pictures talk for itself for the BBQ...and here I just want to say "Thank a million to everyone who turned up, helped or contributed in one way or the other, if without you all, this BBQ won't turn out so successful, great and fun...and most importantly, memorable...Thank tons again from the bottom of my heart..."
